Viniculture is a love for wine, the land on which vines grow, their fruit, and the art of transforming grapes into wine. A love of things well done leads us to take special care with our work in the vineyards, aimed at achieving maximum quality grapes at every vintage, well aware that this is the basic starting point for creating wines that reflect elegance and balance.

A year-long journey: a commitment through the four seasons that rewards us with the fruit of our vines; the grapes that will give us wine.

All agricultural operations, from vineyard management to all necessary jobs, take place respecting nature and its integrity, incorporating traditional know-how with the most modern methods and technologies.

Respect for our raw materials derives from close ties to the world of vines and its history. This is the concept on which our philosophy is based: we wish to preserve and enhance our oldest vineyards whose fruits integrate and preserve the characteristics of our unique terroir, and bring them to our wine.

VINE TEARS

The first timid appearance of spring awakens plants from their winter torpor and vegetation begins, evident from the sap oozing like tears from the recently pruned branches. Approximately one month after this magnificent natural phenomenon the plant produces shoots.

FIRST BUDS APPEAR

The vines continue to vegetate and the shoots begin to open, producing the first buds. At this time vegetation quickly develops into the early summer, decking the magnificent landscape in green.

FLOWERING

Life unfolds and flowers begin to form. The closed vine blossoms open up to the light and begin the long stage that leads to the ripe fruit.

FRUIT SET AND BERRY FORMATION

The warm light of early summer illuminates the vine’s natural evolution: the fertilised flower turns into fruit, still green and hidden among the leaves, where it begins growth that will continue throughout the summer.

VÉRAISON:

The fruit starts to gradually develop its typical pigmentation, from the bright yellow of white berry grapes to the deep red of red berry varieties. This is the prelude to fruit ripening.

HARVEST

When the grapes are fully ripe, having reached the right balance of sugar and acidity, the eagerly awaited harvest begins. The late summer air is filled with the scent of wine, happiness and excitement

In autumn temperatures begin to drop. The vine leaves colour the landscape with red, ochre and bronze and then begin to fall, starting the vine’s deep dormant winter stage.

Harsh winter temperatures keep vine vegetation dormant, but only apparently: nature ‘talks’ earnestly to plants through the soil; what seems like exterior inactivity is in effect interior concentration.

WINE&SIENA 2019

We will take part to the IV edition of Wine&Siena, an important wine event promoted by Merano Wine Festival in one of the symbol city for italian viticulture, with the aim to celebrate the oenological excellences of our Country. We will be present with our Chardonnay "Selezione".

NEW AWARDS FROM CIVILTÀ DEL BERE

Glad to start 2019 with an another important award. The Chardonnay "Selezione" and the Lison Classico have been awarded at Civiltà del Bere Wine Competition, the most important italian wine magazine. Such an important achievement considering the high quality level of the participants, and the will of the judges to reward wines which combine quality and typicality, that is the bond with their Terroir.

Ancora pochi giorni all'inizio di Ein Prosit 2018! Manifestazione Eno-gastronomica d’eccellenza che si tiene nel mese di Ottobre tra Tarvisio e Malborghetto, ed in tutto il comprensorio locale. Una vetrina privilegiata per le più importanti Produzioni Eno-gastronomiche del nostro Paese.
